Where there’s a wheel, there’s a way!
Our flagship program, referred to as “therapeutic or controlled karting,” uses a fleet of specially adapted vehicles that enable even the most severely disabled individuals to drive a vehicle on an outdoor course.
The HUB’s recreational activities actually disguise carefully designed academic, vocational and social skills therapies. Karts are adapted to provide targeted physical strengthening or modified to challenge and promote specific outcomes.
The HUB is often integrated into a larger support team with licensed professionals monitoring and consulting on the individual’s progress.
Our therapeutic karting program is also available for group events! Not only will everyone get to have their own karting experience, but it is also a fun and laid-back environment to hang out and play games. You can schedule a private group karting event at The HUB’s beautiful West Liberty outdoor facility for your group of up to 12 people (plus staff).
